Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky is a spin off series of games with completely different mechanics from the rest of the franchise. Meanwhile, the mobile game is more known for its exploration with AR technology and its lack of story. Much of the cartoon follows a similar plot. You explore the world available to you in the game, assemble a team, and battle your way across the continent to become the Champion. In the main games, you play as a child receiving their first Pokémon. Though most people are familiar with the franchise itself, I find that not many people are as knowledgeable on some of their games beyond the main game, Pokémon GO, or just the cartoon. A staple of many of many of our childhoods.
